Borussia Dortmund vs SC Freiburg Prediction: Home advantage may count for Dortmund

This Saturday afternoon, Borussia Dortmund will attempt to maintain their perfect record at home when they play Freiburg at the famous Signal Iduna Park at 17:30 (GMT+3). The game is shaping up to be one of the most exciting encounters of Matchday No. 11

During this Bundesliga season, Dortmund has won all five of their home games while scoring 14 goals while playing at home. However, they have been terrible away from home and have lost three of the previous five league games. They have also been terrible overall. Given that Vincenzo Grifo wasted a penalty kick in the twenty-first minute that would have given his team the lead, Freiburg, the visitors, will probably lament their lost chance to defeat Union Berlin. With just 11 goals allowed this season, Freiburg's defence has been outstanding. They are now the fourth-strongest defence in the Bundesliga, behind only Union Berlin, RB Leipzig, and Bayern München.

Having won two of their previous three games, Schuster's team enters this match riding a three-game winning streak that includes two draws and one triumph. Their away performance, though, has been patchy. Freiburg has only achieved two wins, one tie, and two losses in their last five away games. They have also lost their last two away games.
