The third round of the Copa Sudamericana group stage continues with Metropolitanos hoping to secure their first victory in the competition. Lanus is currently second in Group G with a win and a draw from two games played while Metropolitanos is yet to win a game up until this point. Surprisingly, the Metropolitanos recently secured two consecutive league victories in their domestic league games. They are at the bottom of the Copa Sudamericana Group G as they have yet to win a game since the start of the competition. Their opener against Deportivo Garcilaso ended in a 3-2 defeat while their second and most recent game of the competition against Cuiaba ended in a 0-2 defeat. They are at the bottom of Group G and they are in dire need of a positive outcome here if they intend to qualify from Group G. 

Club Lanus

Lanus are also unbeaten so far in the Copa Sudamericana as they are yet to lose a game. Their opener against Cuiaba ended in a 1-1 draw as both teams were unable to get a breakthrough. Their second and most recent game of the Copa Sudamericana against Deportivo Garcilaso ended in a 2-1 defeat. Lanus is currently second in Group G and they’ll be hoping for a positive outcome as they take on Metropolitanos on Thursday. 

Expert Betting Tips

Lanus is unbeaten in the competition and they appear to be the favorite for the victory here. They have scored three goals so far from two games and we should expect a goal from them as well in this encounter.
