Botafogo vs Cuiabá Prediction: The title is close

Botafogo and Cuiabá will meet at the Nilton Santos in a vital game for both teams. The Cariocas lead the standings by six points ahead of Palmeiras and are closer to winning the title. On the other hand, Cuiabá is in a dramatic situation and needs to win to keep the hope of avoiding the relegation.

The confidence of the Botafogo players is very high, and at this point, it seems inevitable that they will win the title. Cuiabá

This result would have been positive at any other time of the season, but now Cuiabá must win to get out of the relegation zone. Bragantino is the first team out of the Z4, in 16th place, and has seven points more than Cuiabá. The Matogrossenses tried hard but failed to close the point gap to their opponents. Last year, Cuiabá won at the Nilton Santos, and that’s the only result that matters against the leader.

Botafogo is the clear favorite against the penultimate placed team. There are six rounds to go, and the Cariocas have a six-point lead over Palmeiras. Botafogo needs 13 points to be crowned champion, and it would be a big surprise to lose points against Cuiabá at the Nilton Santos like it happened last year. The odds for a Botafogo win are very low, so I’ll add to the bet that Cuiabá will not score a goal.
