Atlético Mineiro vs Athletico Paranaense prediction: Both teams are living a nightmare

Atlético Mineiro continues its miserable end of the season and enters the final matchday of the Brasileirão in 14th place. After the painful defeat in Bueno Aires, Atlético lost again in the league, and coach Gabriel Milito was sacked. Incredibly, an unlikely combination of results in the last round put the Miners in danger of relegation. The Hurricane lost 2-1 at home to RB Bragantino in a decisive game in the relegation battle. A draw would be enough for Athletico, but defeat against a direct opponent has complicated its chances. The Paranaenses still depend on themselves, but they must beat Atlético Mineiro on the last matchday to prevent waiting for the other teams to drop points. If the Curitiba club draws, it will have to hope that Fluminense loses to Palmeiras or Bragantino doesn't beat Criciúma. If Athletico loses, it will drop to the Série B should Red Bull win.
