Dallas has lost six of their last eight games and this has been a disappointing window for a team that was expected to do much better. They have now accumulated 26 wins and 25 losses, and their latest slump has now made the work more tenuous for the remaining part of the season.

Detroit was expected to struggle like this and the injury to Cade Cunningham weakened them to no end.

One big positive has been the play of sharpshooting Wing Saddiq Bey, who has averaged over 16 for the first time in any month this season. In other bright spots, rookies Jaden Ivey and Jalen Duren have been looking like tremendous emerging players and have left their mark as rookies. Killian Hayes has been struggling as a score as usual while being a tremendous playmaker. Bojan Bogdanovic has been the scoring leader.
