Three-time Grand Slam winner, Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner, is enjoying his 40th week at the top of the ATP world rankings.
This achievement lets him share the 15th spot with Romanian Ilie Nastase in terms of weeks spent as the world’s number one.
Sinner rose to the top of the rankings following the 2024 French Open. Since then, he has won the 2024 US Open, the 2025 Australian Open, the 2024 ATP Finals, as well as Masters titles in Cincinnati and Shanghai.
However, Sinner is currently serving a three-month suspension due to a violation of anti-doping rules in 2024 and is expected to return to competition in May at the clay-court Masters in Rome.
