World Chess Championship: Ding Liren and Gukesh Dommaraju Draw in Seventh Game

World chess champion Ding Liren from China and Indian grandmaster Gukesh Dommaraju played to a draw in the seventh game of the World Championship match taking place in Singapore.

The game, in which Liren played with the black pieces, ended after 72 moves. The overall score in the match remains tied at 3.5 to 3.5. The next, eighth game is set for December 4.

The championship match will continue until December 13. The players will compete in seven more classic format games, and if there is still a tie, a tiebreak will be held. The total prize fund for the event is $2.5 million.
