RMC Sport reported that French Olympic vice-champion and two-time world biathlon champion Julia Simon is accused of bank card fraud.
According to the source, two police reports have been filed against Simon, including one by Olympic champion Justine Braisaz-Bouchet. The biathlete is accused of using other people's bank cards to make online purchases, but Simon denies the charges.
Over €1,000 was withdrawn from the cards during the Blink festival in Norway in the summer of 2022. The French Ski Federation has called a meeting but has not yet issued a ruling.
Simon was the silver medalist of the Olympic Games-2022 in the mixed relay, twice won the world championships and won a large crystal globe.
