MMA News reports that Patrick Vettori, brother of former UFC middleweight title contender Marvin Vettori, has died following a fire in his apartment.
According to sources, Patrick placed a pot on the stove and fell asleep on the morning of April 15, which led to the fire. The young man suffocated from smoke inhalation before firefighters arrived.

On March 16, Marvin faced Roman Dolidze in a rematch at UFC Fight Night 254, which ended in a unanimous decision victory for the Georgian fighter.
