UFC featherweight champion, Spanish-Georgian fighter Ilia Topuria, commented on reports suggesting that his next opponent could be former two-division champion, Irishman Conor McGregor.

It is worth noting that in November 2024, a jury found McGregor guilty of raping Nikita Hand. He is required to pay the victim €250,000 in compensation.

Topuria last fought in October 2024 at UFC 308, defeating Max Holloway by knockout in the third round. He boasts a record of 16 wins and no losses.

McGregor last stepped into the octagon in July 2021 at UFC 264, losing to Dustin Poirier by technical knockout in the first round. His record stands at 22 wins and six losses.
