On February 1, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Israel Adesanya lost to Nassourdine Imavov by technical knockout in the second round.
In August 2024, at UFC 305, Adesanya was submitted by Dricus Du Plessis in the fourth round, and in September 2023, he lost to Sean Strickland by unanimous decision at UFC 293. Adesanya's record in mixed martial arts stands at 24 wins and five losses.
