Brazilian UFC fighter Renato Moicano discussed who he would like to face next following his defeat to the current lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.
Moicano stated in an interview with Ariel Helwani:
Paddy Pimblett is unbelievable. He never beat anybody that is good in the octagon. UFC always favors him for a reason, you know? He has millions of followers. That's a spoiled brat motherf*cker, you know. They give him everything that he needs. If I fight Paddy Pimblett, I will finish him in the first round - just for this disrespect.
Earlier, Pimblett said that Moicano quit his championship fight too quickly, “like an absolute sausage”.
Moicano fought Makhachev on January 19 at UFC 311 in Los Angeles, USA. This bout, which was stopped in the first round, ended with Renato losing by submission. His record stands at 20 wins, six losses, and one draw.
Pimblett last stepped into the octagon against Bobby Green in July 2024 at UFC 304. This fight, which was also stopped in the first round, ended in favor of Paddy by technical submission. He holds a record of 22 wins and three losses.
