I just can’t see it being anything other than do-or-die for him. Whether die, I guess maybe is not the right word, but he said it very clearly himself before it’s a title or nothing. The nice thing for Michael Chandler is he’s got a lot of options. Win or lose this fight, he’s got a great brand, people love him. I think he’d be an amazing commentator or an analyst, podcast type guy.
Chandler’s last fight was against Charles Oliveira in November 2024 at UFC 309. In that match, which went the full distance, Michael suffered a loss by unanimous decision. His professional record stands at 23 wins and 9 losses.
Pimblett last stepped into the octagon against Bobby Green in July 2024 during UFC 304. This fight, which was stopped in the first round, ended in favor of Paddy by technical submission. He boasts a record of 22 wins and 3 losses.
