Former UFC featherweight title contender Diego Lopes broke silence after his defeat to Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 314.
Volkanovski won against Lopes by unanimous decision, claiming the featherweight championship title.

Volkanovski's last fight was against Ilia Topuria in February 2024 at UFC 298. In that bout, stopped in the second round, Alexander suffered a knockout loss and lost the UFC championship belt. He currently has 26 wins and four losses.
Before facing Volkanovski, Lopes fought Brian Ortega in September 2024 at UFC 306. That fight went the distance and ended in a unanimous decision victory for Diego. He holds a record of 26 wins and six losses.
