Former two-division Bellator champion, Brazilian fighter Patricio “Pitbull” Freire, has been released from his contract with PFL. This was announced by the organization’s founder, Donn Davis.
Freire's last fight took place in March 2024 at the Bellator Champions Series in Belfast, where he faced Canadian Jeremy Kennedy. Patricio won that fight via technical knockout in the third round. His mixed martial arts record now stands at 36 wins and seven losses.
