Curtis Blaydes, an American fighter of the UFC heavyweight division, shared his thoughts on fighters from Russia in an exclusive interview with marvelbetgames.com.
Curtis Blaydes exclusively for Telecom Asia Sport
I can't talk about Russian people because I've never been to Russia. I don't know if they even let Americans into Russia? Speaking about athletes, they are very tough. If you have a Russian opponent, it means the fight won't be easy. You won't be able to break them mentally in the same way you might have broken previous opponents. At least, that's how it is for me.
On the night of July 28, Blaydes will fight Tom Aspinall for the UFC interim heavyweight championship belt. Blaydes has 18 wins and four losses on his record.
