Polish UFC light heavyweight fighter Jan Blachowicz and Austrian Aleksandar Rakic will have a rematch on January 21, 2024 at UFC 297 in Toronto, Canada. This was reported by well-known journalist Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour.
The first fight between Rakic and Blachowicz took place in May this year at UFC Vegas 54. In this confrontation Jan won by technical knockout after his opponent suffered a knee injury in the third round. Aleksandar has 14 wins and three losses on his record.
Blachowicz last fought against Alex Pereira this past July at UFC 291. This fight lasted the entire distance and ended with the defeat of Jan by split decision of judges. He has 29 wins, 10 losses and one draw on his record.
