UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski were inside a van when it got into an accident. The fighters were on their way to a press conference for the upcoming UFC 281 tournament in New York.
According to AGFight, the bus crashed into a fire hydrant. No passengers were injured.
As you may recall, Israel Adesanya will fight Alex Pereira for the title at UFC 281 on November 12.
Adesanya had his last fight at UFC 276 in July of 2022, defeating Jared Cannonier by unanimous decision. The 33-year-old Adesanya has 23 wins and one loss under his belt.
