On April 4, Kevin De Bruyne announced on his social media that he would be leaving the English club after this season.
The 33-year-old Belgian has been with Manchester City since 2015. During this time, he has won the Premier League six times, the EFL Cup five times, the FA Community Shield three times, the FA Cup twice, and once each in the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Overall, De Bruyne has played 414 matches for City across all competitions, scoring 106 goals and providing 176 assists.
Currently, Manchester City sit in sixth place in the Premier League table, with 52 points after 31 matches played.
Earlier, Manchester City’s head coach Pep Guardiola referred to Kevin De Bruyne as one of the greatest footballers in history commenting on his impending departure.
Earlier reports suggested that Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese forward for Al-Nassr, is trying to persuade the Saudi club's management to offer the 33-year-old Belgian a contract worth 1.19 million euros per week.
