The well-known website Transfermarkt has published its latest list of the world's most expensive football players, following the latest updates to market values.
Topping the list at 200 million euros are two players: Real Madrid striker and Brazil national team member Vinicius Junior and Manchester City forward and Norway national team player Erling Haaland. The third spot is claimed by Barcelona winger and Euro 2024 champion Lamine Yamal, valued at 180 million euros.
The updated top 10 most valuable footballers worldwide is as follows:

On December 14, Transfermarkt reduced the market value of MLS club Inter Miami forward and 2022 World Cup champion Lionel Messi from 25 million to 20 million euros. A day earlier, the value for Al-Nassr forward and Euro 2016 champion Cristiano Ronaldo dropped from 15 million to 12 million euros.
