Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior of the Spanish football club Real Madrid may be close to moving to a Saudi Arabian team, according to AS.
The report indicates that one Saudi club is offering the 24-year-old player a five-year contract worth a total of €1 billion, with an annual salary of €200 million. Real Madrid would receive €300 million for the player's transfer.
It is noted that Madrid are not willing to sell the Brazilian for less than the release fee of €1 billion, but they may agree to a deal if the player himself expresses a desire to leave.
Vinicius has been with Real Madrid since 2018. This season, he has scored 16 goals and provided ten assists in 26 matches for the club.
Earlier reports suggested that Al-Ahli is prepared to offer €350 million for the winger's transfer this summer.
