Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah received an offer from a club in Saudi Arabia worth £500 million, as reported by BBC.
Although the offer was substantial, the Egyptian player chose to remain with the English club, hoping to continue winning trophies in the Premier League and Champions League.
Salah extended his contract with Liverpool and will remain the team's highest-paid player, earning around £400,000 per week. However, he acknowledges that he might consider a move to Saudi Arabia after the new two-year contract ends.
This season, Salah has played 46 matches for Liverpool across all competitions, scoring 32 goals and providing 23 assists. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2027.
