In Real Madrid, officials are worried that Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior have yet to establish effective synergy on the field, as reported by Relevo.
The club's management expected that the Frenchman’s arrival would quickly make the attacking line more productive. However, after six months, the team acknowledges that the desired on-field "chemistry" between the forwards has not developed.
When Mbappe and Vinicius play together, one of them may shine individually, but it is rare for both to achieve synchronized, effective play. This has raised concerns within Real, as both players have high individual skill but have not yet found the optimal way to work together.
Nevertheless, the club is confident that both forwards should be in the starting lineup if they are in good physical condition. There are no discussions about the possibility of one of them being benched.
In the 2024/25 season, Mbappe has played 42 matches for Madrid, scoring 28 goals and providing four assists. Meanwhile, Vinicius has scored 18 goals and made 11 assists in 38 matches for the club this season.
