Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah from Liverpool as a free agent after the current season ends.
Salah’s contract with the Merseyside club is valid until the summer of 2025. In 12 matches this season, Salah, who has been with Liverpool since 2017, has scored 10 goals.
Rumor has it that PSG view Salah as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who recently transferred to Real Madrid. The club is reportedly prepared to offer him a contract worth €40 million annually. Interest in Salah is fueled by difficulties in contract negotiations between him and Liverpool.
Previously, Fabrizio Romano reported that Liverpool plan to discuss a contract extension with Salah in the coming months. According to El Nacional, the Egyptian could join either Juventus or PSG at the end of the current season.
