Piers Morgan calls ten Hag an overrated clown after Man United's Europa League exit

British journalist Piers Morgan has commented on Manchester United's defeat to Sevilla in the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals.

The Spanish team thrashed the Red Devils 3-0 in the return leg. The first leg ended in a 2-2 draw.

The goals were scored by forward Youssef En-Nesyri (double) and defender Loïc Badé. Thus, coach José Luis Mendilibar's side qualified for the Europa League semifinals, where they will play with Juventus.

Dear oh dear. What a humiliating shambles by United. And remember… this overrated clown Erik Ten Hag thought the smart play was to humiliate Cristiano and force him out of the club…

In November 2022, striker Cristiano Ronaldo gave a scandalous interview to Morgan, criticizing his then-team Manchester United and in particular he took a swipe at the team's head coach Erik ten Hag.

The two sides then terminated the agreement by mutual consent. Ronaldo went to the World Cup in Qatar, where he was forced to sit out during the tournament. He subsequently moved to Al-Nassr.
