Yura Movsisyan, the owner of the Glendale-based American club Brave Lions, stated that the doors to the team are open for Russian football players.
Movsisyan told marvelbetgames.com:
Our club is gradually evolving, and things are going well. We are inviting all kinds of players, including from Europe. There are mainly former players from the youth and junior national teams of Armenia and local Armenian footballers that are playing now
We are probably not yet at a level where I would consider the Russian Premier League (RPL). My club is semi-professional. I don’t think anyone from the RPL would be interested in our club. But if someone from Russia wants to come over, I would be happy! Our doors are always open.
Brave Lions compete in the fourth tier of the US football division. In addition to Movsisyan, the co-founder of the club is Vardan Papikyan.
