Neuer Intends To Return To Bayern's Main Team Immediately After Recovery

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer intends to return to the main squad of the Rekordmeister in the near future.

The goalkeeper played his last match back at the Qatar World Cup, and then broke his leg while on vacation at a ski resort.

According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, the goalkeeper intends to return on October 28 at the latest for the German championship match against Darmstadt. Neuer, 37, may come back on the field in matches against Mainz and Galatasaray as well, scheduled for October 21 and 24.

Earlier, Bayern refused to sign Jerome Boateng because of a pending criminal case. Bild reported that Manuel Neuer will be able to play for the Munich club only in 2024.
