Argentina striker and captain Lionel Messi has hinted at ending his professional career with the national team after the America's Cup 2024.
Messi told TyC Sports:
I'm living it like I lived it in the last Copa America, in the last World Cup... these are the last battles and I'm enjoying them to the maximum. It's not easy to be in a final again, we need to enjoy, enjoy every moment.
In the final of Copa America, Argentina will play against Colombia. The meeting will take place on the night of July 14-15 and will start at 3:00 GMT+3.
In the current edition of the tournament, the 37-year-old Messi played four matches, scored one goal and made one assist.
Earlier, Angel Di Maria also spoke about retiring from the national team of Argentina.
