Argentine forward Lionel Messi, playing for the American team Inter Miami, has compiled a list of the top ten most promising young footballers in the world.
According to Give Me Sport, Messi's list includes: Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal, Juventus player Kenan Yıldız, young talent from Philadelphia Cavan Sullivan, US Women’s National Team player Jaedyn Shaw, Leipzig midfielder Antonio Nusa, Nottingham Forest forward Joel Ndala, standout player from women’s Barcelona Vicky Lopez, talented Assan Ouédraogo, also from Leipzig, and Eliesse Ben Seghir from Monaco.
Messi has been with Inter Miami since the summer of 2023 and has played 49 matches across all competitions, scoring 42 goals and providing 21 assists. His current contract with the club runs until the end of 2025. Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €20 million.
