Real Madrid has been named the Team of the Year at the Laureus World Sports Awards 2025 ceremony held in the Spanish capital on Monday, April 21.
Over the past year, Carlo Ancelotti's squad secured five trophies: the Champions League, the La Liga title, the Spanish Supercup, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
Other nominees for the award were the Boston Celtics basketball team, FC Barcelona Women's Football team, McLaren F1 team, the Spain men's national football team, and the USA men's national basketball team.
