37-year-old Argentine forward Lionel Messi and the Florida football club Inter Miami are in discussions to extend his contract until the end of 2026.
According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, the contract will include an option for a loan to a European club during the MLS off-season 2025/26.
In the past MLS season, Messi scored 21 goals and provided 11 assists in 22 matches for Inter Miami.
Earlier, Neymar expressed his desire to play on the same team with Messi and Suarez again.
