Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola addressed his team's defeat to Juventus (0:2) in the sixth round of the UEFA Champions League group stage.
Josep Guardiola for the Daily Express
We have done it really, really well. We didn't lose many balls that happened in the past, we tried and arrived in positions. But we know Italian teams defend so deep and so compact, it is not easy. We missed the last part, the last action. We concede a few of course some transition happened. But I'm so proud of these players, they give everything they tried and now we live in this period.
Currently, Manchester City have eight points and sit in 22nd place in the UEFA Champions League group stage table.
In the remaining two matches of the group stage, the City squad will face PSG and Brugge.
Earlier, Josep Guardiola stated that he would not coach other clubs after his time at Manchester City.
