According to talkSPORT, former Chelsea, Newcastle, West Ham, Tottenham, and England midfielder Scott Parker, currently the manager of Championship club Burnley, is a candidate for the head coach position at Tottenham Hotspur.
Sources suggest that the club is likely to part ways with Australian manager Ange Postecoglou at the end of the 2024/2025 season, regardless of how well he performs in the UEFA Europa League.
After 33 matches in the current English Premier League season, Tottenham, under Postecoglou’s guidance, have only earned 37 points and sit in sixteenth place in the standings. In their 33rd-round match against Nottingham Forest, Tottenham lost 1-2. The London club is set to play against Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt in the semifinals of the Europa League.
Parker, 44, could be brought in to lead Tottenham as early as the summer of 2025. He took charge of Burnley in July 2024, leading them to accumulate 94 points over 44 Championship matches, securing second place in the table and promotion to the Premier League.
