Former Brazilian national team player and European football star Douglas Costa speculated that his ex-teammate from Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo, could possibly launch a page on the OnlyFans platform.
Costa told DailyMail:
Never say never. But I don't think it's something he would do. He has he joined YouTube, and I think that was big for him. You never know. I have had other people, some colleagues and friends that have already told me that they will join.
Douglas emphasized that not all content on the site is adult-oriented and that many of his friends and family use the platform, where he shares content.
On August 21, Cristiano Ronaldo announced the launch of his own YouTube channel titled "UR · Cristiano." Within just one and a half hours, he gained over a million subscribers, setting a record for the video hosting platform. Furthermore, the Portuguese star quickly reached 100,000 subscribers in just 22 minutes and ten million subscribers in 11 hours and 31 minutes.
