Bayern representatives have disclosed that midfielders Leon Goretzka and wingers Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane are no longer considered the "untouchables" of the club, as reported by Sport Bild.
The long-term contracts with high salaries of these players are reportedly preventing the club from being active in the transfer market. Gnabry and Goretzka's contracts with Munich are set to expire in the summer of 2026, while Sane's contract is due to end in the summer of 2025.
Following a 0-3 defeat in the 21st round of the Bundesliga against Bayer, Bayern head coach Thomas Tuchel expressed concerns about the team's inability to translate good training performances into success in matches, both domestically and in European competitions.
