Barcelona have successfully won a legal dispute against La Liga regarding the registration of players Dani Olmo and Pau Victor. This news comes from El Chiringuito's social media channels.
The Higher Sports Council (CSD) showed their support for the Catalan club in this case. However, La Liga retains the right to challenge this decision in higher courts.
In early January, both players were temporarily registered to participate in matches for the second half of the 2024/2025 La Liga season, despite the tournament's administration and the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) opposing this move.
Olmo and Victor joined Barcelona in the summer of 2024. The 26-year-old midfielder has played 28 matches for the Catalans, scoring eight goals and providing five assists. The 23-year-old forward has participated in 22 matches across all competitions for the club, scoring two goals and making one assist.
After 29 matches, Barcelona lead the La Liga standings with 66 points. In their upcoming 30th round, Hans-Dieter Flick's team will face Real Betis on April 5.
