34-year-old Genoa forward Mario Balotelli may change teams in January. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Mexican club Cruz Azul is showing interest in the player.
RTI Esporte reports that negotiations are in the final stages, with only the striker's salary left to be agreed upon.
Balotelli joined Genoa at the end of October as a free agent. Since then, he has played six matches in Serie A, spending only 56 minutes on the field without scoring any goals or providing assists.
The player previously revealed that he turned down a generous offer from the Chinese league.
