Ancelotti Says He Plans To End His Career With Real Madrid

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has spoken out about his future.

Ancelotti told La Repubblica:

It’s complicated and simple at the same time. But mostly simple. It’s essential to have passion and not make it too complicated with obsessions. I still have passion. I will retire as Real Madrid manager, but first I want another Champions League.

Ancelotti was in charge of Real Madrid from 2013 to 2015 and from 2021 to the present. During that period, he won the Spanish championship, Spanish Cup, Spanish Super Cup, National Super Cup, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup twice each.

The Madrid club will play in the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund in London at Wembley Stadium on June 1.

Earlier, Ancelotti called the current squad of los Blancos the best team in his career.

The 64-year-old Italian surpassed former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane in the number of trophies as head coach of the Spanish club.
