Verstappen's Father Believes Red Bull Risks Falling Apart Due To Specialists Leaving

Jos Verstappen, the father of Red Bull driver Max Verstappen commented on the current situation in the Austrian team.

De Telegraaf quotes Jos as saying:

Jos Verstappen
The team is in danger of falling apart. I was afraid of that earlier this year. For internal peace, it is important that key people stay on board. That is not the case now. Newey is leaving and earlier this year it also looked like Helmut would be sent away. For the future, that is not good.

At the moment, the Red Bull team is in first place in the Constructors' Cup. After three Grand Prix the Austrian team has 97 points.

Earlier it was reported that head of technical department of Red Bull Adrian Newey will leave the team in the first quarter of 2025. The specialist has worked with the Bulls since 2006. Chief mechanic Lee Stevenson, who also spent 18 years in the team, is going to leave the team as well.
