Spanish Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz, representing Ferrari, will join the French team Alpine. This was reported by La Gazette Dello Sport.
According to sources, Sainz has already agreed to the move. The new executive consultant of Alpine Flavio Briatore managed to convince Sainz of the project's prospects under the updated structure of work. The Spanish driver's contract could be signed by the end of 2026.
In the next season, British driver Lewis Hamilton, seven-time world champion, will take Carlos Sainz's place at Ferrari.
