FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem Criticizes British Media

The president of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), Mohammed Ben Sulayem, has criticized British media for their dissatisfaction with the development policies in Formula 1.

Mohammed Ben Sulayem for Motorsport
Three years of critics against me. Do I care? Was I elected to listen to the media? No. I like the good media, the positive media and maybe I make a mistake, and you can come and criticise me in an objective way. (It’s) unfair.

Representatives of the British Grand Prix have not yet responded to this statement.

It is worth noting that Mohammed Ben Sulayem was elected president of the FIA on December 17, 2021, following the departure of Jean Todt from the position.
