Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, Turki Alalshiikh, has named five boxing matches he would like to see in 2025.
According to Alalshikh, he is particularly interested in the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois, as well as the second fight between Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney. He also expressed hope for the matches featuring Tyson Fury against Anthony Joshua and Chris Eubank versus Conor Benn.
For the American audience, Turki highlighted the bout between Saul Alvarez and Terence Crawford as the main event during the Froch On Fighting podcast.
Crawford last fought against Israil Madrimov in August 2024. In that match, Terence secured a unanimous decision victory and captured the WBA championship title along with the interim WBO title in the welterweight division. He has a record of 41 wins (31 by knockout) and no defeats.
Alvarez last stepped into the ring against Edgar Berlanga in September 2024. This fight went the full distance, and Saul won by unanimous decision, defending his WBA, WBC, and WBO titles in the super middleweight division. His record boasts 62 wins (39 by knockout), two losses, and two draws.
