The world IBF first heavyweight title fight between champion Jai Opetaia and Italian Claudio Squeo has been postponed from May 13 to June 8 due to an injury suffered by the Australian boxer.
Opetaia last fought against David Nyika in January of this year, where he secured a win by technical knockout in the fourth round. He boasts an impressive record of 27 wins (21 by knockout) and no losses.
Squeo last entered the ring against Orlando de Jesus Estrada in October 2024. That match was halted in the second round, resulting in a technical knockout victory for Claudio. He remains undefeated with a record of 17 wins (nine by knockout).
