Mob Confronts Mayweather in London Over His Support for Israel Amid Palestinian Conflict

Former five-division world champion, American boxer Floyd Mayweather, was attacked by a crowd while shopping in London.

According to The Sun, the assailants were upset with Mayweather's earlier statements expressing full support for Israel in the conflict with Palestine. In turn, the boxer shouted back at the attackers that he was proud to support the Jewish people.

Mayweather's last fight was against John Gotti III in August 2024 in Mexico City. This match went the full distance, and no winner was declared, as it was an exhibition bout where victory could only be achieved by knockout. Floyd has a professional boxing record of 50 wins (27 by knockout) and no losses.
