LeBron James, the 39-year-old four-time National Basketball Association (NBA) champion and one of the league's most recognized players, has decided to temporarily step away from social media.
The Los Angeles Lakers star shared his decision in a post, stating:
Getting off social media for the time being. Y’all take care.
In his previous post, James had shared a message from entrepreneur Rich Kleiman, who expressed concern over the excessive negativity in sports news. Kleiman urged media outlets and television to use sports as a means of bringing people together, rather than provoking negative reactions.
Earlier this season, it was reported that James achieved four consecutive triple-doubles, marking another significant accomplishment in his ongoing career.
