Cheetahs vs USA Perpignan Prediction: Perpignan will lose this game

Rugby Netherlands will host the Europe Challenge Cup encounter between Cheetahs and USA Perpignan. The two teams are having a struggling performance and will hope to do better here. Who wins here?

Cheetahs' last encounter was against Lions in the Currie Cup semifinal, and they lost. In a game that ended 43-34, the Cheetahs settled for a 19-19 draw in the first half, but a poor 24-15 scoreline in the second half gave them a defeat. However, this team lost four of their last five matches and their lone win against Pumas. In other encounters, this team lost to Sharks, Lions and Griquas. As the favourite side in this fixture, Cheetahs will hope to get things right, play at the top level and return to winning ways.

USA Perpignan played RC Toulonnais the previous time out and lost in a league game. In a match that ended 13-22, USA Perpignan lost each half, ending 6-12 and 7-10. However, USA Perpignan have defeated in three of their last five games, two against Racing Metro 92 and Stade Toulousain. However, their best performances were against Lyon and Vannes in that run, ending in 29-26 and 32-13 victories. 

The USA Perpignan on the road can not be trusted, especially with an unfamiliar side. While Cheetahs are playing poorly, being a favourite at home is a good reason to pick them. The two teams, however, have a lot of poor attacking play, and while this could be a competitive game, I believe picking Cheetahs to win with a good scoreline is a good option.
