The bout will take place in the women's featherweight division. None of the fighters ranks top 15 of the official UFC ranking of the challengers of this division. In the bookmaker's betting odds, the favorite is Jillian Robertson.

Agapova is not top yet, but she is very popular. Nevertheless, Maria is one step away from being fired - she's not yet living up to Dana White's hopes alternating wins and losses. Especially disappointing was the defeat in her last fight, when she was strangled by her worst enemy Maryna Moroz.
