Zurich vs Grasshoppers Prediction: Zurich to return to winning ways

Letzigrund will host the Swiss Super League encounter between Zurich and Grasshoppers. The previous time out, the two teams could not secure a win. How will things unfold in this fixture?

Zurich's last encounter was against Lugano, and they lost. In a game that ended 4-1, Zurich had 46 percent of the possession and attempted 11 shots, with seven on targets. However, despite taking the lead in the 9th minute, with Mounir Chouiar striking. Yet, they went to concede the goals before the break before Renato Steffen scored in the 50th minute to seal maximum points for his side. Heading into this game, Zurich have one win in their last matches, coming against Sion, losing two and drawing two others. 

Grasshoppers' last encounter was against Winterthur, and they settled for a 1-1 draw. In that encounter, this team had 51 per cent of the possession while attempting six shots on goal. In the meantime, Grasshoppers' Nikolas Muci struck for his side in the 78th minute to put them in the lead until Remo Arnold's last-minute strike denied them maximum points. Heading into this game, Grasshoppers have one win, two defeats and two draws in their last five matches. 

Grasshoppers are playing below par, and they will need to do better. However, with poor performances in the league this season, taking on a Zurich side that are fighting to win the league will be a tough job to deal with. Also, while Zurich have failed to win any of their last league matches, I expect them to be at their best, give their all and show class. This is going to be tough looking at the two teams' winning chances. Yet, I am backing Zurich to win, an encounter where both teams could score.
