Kenya vs Zimbabwe Prediction: The Harambee Stars stand a better chance since the guests already secured a knockout spot

Zimbabwe will face off against Kenya in the final group game of the COSAFA Cup at the Isaac Wolfson Stadium on Tuesday. The visiting team have been pretty good this campaign, and they’ll be keen to keep it clean against Kenya. 

Harambee Stars began their COSAFA Cup journey with a deserved (0-2) victory over Zambia. More recently, they suffered a defeat against Comoros in their second game. Kenya have now secured three points from a combined six, scoring two and conceding twice. 

Kenya head here for the second time after being out since 2013, and their matchup against Zimbabwe will be their sixth match here. Engin Firat's men will be keen to make their presence felt in this competition, and they’ll be at their best against their opponent. 

The Warriors have been the most impressive team in this tournament, heading here with back-to-back victories. Zimbabwe have scored four times and conceded none in the group and have secured the ticket to the next round. 

Zimbabwe have played just six games in this tournament for the past three years as they began their journey with a (0-1) victory over Comoros and (0-2) against Zambia. Zimbabwe have picked up eight points from their last six COSAFA games, scoring eight and conceding four times. 

The Harambee Stars suffered their first defeat of the tournament against Comoros. They were totally outplayed after being reduced to ten men. At the same time, Zimbabwe were at the top of their game, scoring twice against Zambia and could have scored more. 

Kenya must win this game to stand a chance of advancing to the next round, and we are not sure Zimbabwe will feature all their key men since they’ve secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the COSAFA Cup. We expect Zimbabwe to continue their fine form here, but at the detriment of conceding a goal at least; bet on BTTS for 2.20.

Since both teams will be pleased with a point apiece, we expect to see a full-time stalemate here for 2.84.

A win for the guests for 2.90 might be worth the risk.
