Dreams vs Samartex Prediction: Both teams will be pleased with a point apiece

On Saturday, the Ghanaian Premier League champions, FC Samartex 1999, will square off against Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium. The guests who failed to qualify for the continental cup last season will be determined to do better this time. 

The Believers were inconsistent in the league last season due to their participation in the continental championship. Unfortunately, they were beaten hands down by Zamalek in Ghana, conceding three without a response. Karim Zito's men finished 9th place in the standings, which mathematically means they won't return to the continental tournament.

Dreams FC won eleven of their last seventeen games at home last season, a record they’ve to improve if they are to finish strong this campaign.

Samartex have played twice this new season, winning both games in the CAF Champions League qualifying round. They have invested heavily during the summer, and they’ll be keen to defend their title.

Both teams have won a game apiece and two games ending in a stalemate over their previous four meetings. The guests team have made some impressive moves in the transfer window which I think will see them perform at their best this campaign. At the same time, Dreams sold all their best players last season, and we think they might struggle in this campaign. 

This game might definitely end in a share of the spoils, and we think the hosts are the closest to securing all the points.
